Cassius Eyewear. After worldwide releases in New Zealand, UK, Australia, Japan and the US it’s now up to The Netherlands.
Several well known Dutch artists like Gers Pardoel, FS Green, DJ Abstract, Jayh and Darryl participated in a photoshoot. Part of the launch is an exhibition where all the photos will be shown. Stylists Keizer&Croque were responsible for the whole styling. This resulted in an astonishing series of photos taken by photographer Mounir Raji. Especially for the exhibition GPB produced a commercial with the skills of videographer Terence Loos. Cassius Eyewear graces the faces of some of the most influential celebrities, like Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas and The Killers. Founded in 2008 as an independent eyewear brand, Cassius Eyewear is a modern extension of a look and attitude from the 1960’s and 70’s. Founder and creative director, Jason Ng, was inspired by such disparate influences as the Bauhaus movement, Brooklyn, N.Y. through the eyes of photographer Jamel Shabazz, a Mondrian painting executed in plain mathematical clarity. The designs are edgy and made with eye for detail. All this makes for glasses that breathe timeless luxury.
