Designer baby?

Ruby Helmets

Here's Ruby x Margiela...haha, so funny, look close and read 'frietjes' on the side:

To be honest we think the margiela helmet sucks big time. But this model of Ruby compensates it all:

Nike SB Stefan Janoski sneakers

In 93' we wore Nike as if it were body parts. Nowadays we're sick of it. Same models getting re-issued in all the colors you can imagine. It lacks creativity. But now Nike finally released something that caught our attention again. Jup, this is nice, Nike SB Stefan Janoski sneakers:

Finals of Milan Fashion Week

Here are two scoops: Maxmara & Cavalli finals in Milan. Thanks to Samuel Dobrowolski from Ulla Models who witnessed the whole thing backstage and frontstage.

PS Did you see Anna Wintour clapping?

Temporary art project with QR code micro-secrets in public space

Our peepz from Golfstromen went next level with this art project in the Frederik Hendrikstraat. This old sex club is tranformed into a piece of art, with secret codes that you can translate with your mobile phone. It's easy. Just open the QR reader in your mobile phone (we also didn't know everybody has that in their phone...) and take a snap of the squares. It translates a secret message. Very wicked!

The Handy - a Dutch student company

Dutch MER students developed this handy gadget. Due to the design we like it. It's more of a stylish mobile phone gimmick than a revolutionary invention in our opinion. But still, worth to check it out and get your hands on one.

Joey Elgersma

Now here's a cat we get down with. Joey the stylist with swagger. Uh...The one bending over we mean. He just posted this funny picture by William Pancake Woodcole on facebook.

He amazed us with his classic Future Icons styling for JFK. Very nice. Respect.

Patta x Kangol Leather Bugatti

Remember those Slick Rick days? Well...Patta makes us want to wear Kangol again. Props.

From Slamxhype.

Koos from Independent Fashion & Yamamoto...?

Here's Koos Faber from Nuzyn. Our partner in crime for Independent Fashion. Picture taken by Hans Mooijer during his styling job a few days ago. You can see he's a former model right?

Here's an old picture of Koos where he rocks the catwalk with Yamamoto:

A Fashion's night out (NYC)

We should set this up for Amsterdam. To see the NYC results click here.

Now here's a blog you should follow for some swagger guidance. The SouthSider. He posts the freshest stuff. For example these kicks from Balenciaga.

To put it short...He knows what's up!

Milano SS 2010

Samuel, main booker from Ulla models, is rocking Milano Fashion Week. Ulla Models is representing some big ass shows. Here you see a picture of his first day backstage at Prada with Ulla model Lisanne.

And Carine Roitfeld (editor in chief of the French Vogue) after Blumarine:

A bit off topic, but here's a great documentary about her:

Check part 2 here.

And part 3 here.

Dazed picture

Dazed uploaded this picture on their Myspace. Confusing right?

Our international model Dorith Mous has been rocking some more pictures. Check out her blog here.
One of the pictures is taken at our new shop. And yes...That's the lovely Liza, designer / owner of OntFront. Tarantino style.

MRKMLN & OntFront

We give a big hand to MRKMLN for doing our show direction and choreography during our AIFW show. Big up!

Down with Soopl

There's only a few people we really get down with. Arjan Kaan is one of them. He created the majestic Soopl systems for stylists and clothing agents. It's light, steady and completely portable. Check out their website. It's brilliant.

PS The dopest thing about Arjan is that he's a skateboarder straight from the streets. Don't you just love it? Just like James Veenhof, Clyde Semmoh, Ibn Jasper and us. Haha, Wicked.

more pics of our shop

Here are more pictures of our new pop up store: Independent Fashion. Visit us at Oude Nieuwstraat 23 in Amsterdam.

Are you a back packer?

H by Harris launched the way most collections do these days – under a tidal wave of blog love. Thankfully, they’ve also found their way into a store that sells their wares online (so that’s DSM out of the equation). You should know the drill by now with H by Harris; clean lines, simple design, quilted leather – the whole shebang. It’s not cheap, but what did you expect? (Browns)

Funny glasses

We saw these Barracuda glasses and were fascinated. It's probably so not practical it's not even worth to mention where it's from. But this is the design:
