Our homey Mirik Milan Gelders aka MRKMLN is running for night mayor of Amsterdam. Mirik and OntFront go wayback. As friends, but also in business. He has produced our fashion shows on Amsterdam Fashion week and Hong Kong fashion week. We've also produced Off Schedule together.

We shall be voting Mirik Milan simply because he is the right man for the job. His experience in night life events rage from: Meubelstukken, 3Hoog, Nuit Blanche, kits zonder blog to streetlab. His vision is international and he's heavily connected local. In other words, he's one of us. So drop by at the Melkweg tonight and vote for Mirik or die!

Bieneke van der Does (also from Blend magazine) is now editor in chief at Amsterdam magazine. Thanks to her, our store and all of our favorite spots in Amsterdam are mentioned in the new edition (feb). Big up lady.

D'angelo styled in OntFront accessories

Yesterday the infamous soul artist D'Angelo got styled in OntFront accessories (styling by Rudii Ru and Tommy Driesen). He also picked some items to wear for his World Tour. The black ostrich leather OntFront boots that will be released upcoming season are one of them.

Haarlemmerbuurt best shopping district of Holland

Yeah! Haarlemmerbuurt just won the prize of 'Best shopping district of Holland' (by NLStreets). And since the OntFront store is situated on the Haarlemmerdijk, we're stoked. Thank you for voting! OntFront in Raume der Mode

Our dear friend and loyal customer Arjen van der Bliek is an extremely talented architect (works for Philips, Nike, Mexx, etc). He presented the link between architecture and fashion during a symposium in Germany. For his case he used OntFront to demonstrate how fashion and architecture are linked. OntFront got blessed. As best fashion shop of Amsterdam Nominee 2011 at the Time out awards, we are now certified and thankful. To be one of the top five best fashion shops of Amsterdam is a blessing. Big up to all of our supporters.
